Who we are

Planlift.

What we collect

We collect the email address and password you provide when creating an account, the drawings and images you upload for processing, and basic usage data (such as page views, generation events and error logs) needed to operate the Service. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never visible to us in plain text.

How we use it

We use this data to create and secure your account, to generate visuals from your uploads, to support you when you contact us, and to improve the Service (for example by fixing bugs and refining prompts).

Third-party processing

To generate visuals we transmit your uploaded drawing and the prompt we build from it to our AI sub-processors, OpenAI GPT and Google Gemini. Their processing is governed by their own privacy terms. Images are only processed temporarily to produce your result and are not retained longer than necessary.

Legal basis (UK GDPR)

We process your personal data on the basis of performance of our contract with you (to deliver the Service you have requested) and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, port or object to processing of your personal data. If you would like to delete your account, please contact us and we will remove it.

Retention

Uploaded drawings are processed temporarily and are not stored beyond what is needed to deliver your result — we do not keep your drawings saved. Account data (such as your email) is retained for the duration of your account and removed on request.

International transfers

Our AI sub-processor may process data outside the UK. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.
